44-HOUR WEEK
ADOPTION IN ITALY (Received Nov. 6. 3 p.in.) ROME. Nov. 5. An agreement for a 44-hour week throughout Italy was reached by the Fascist Con federation of Employers and Workers, as an “effort to offset me consequences of unemployment.” An attempt- will also be made to employ men instead of young girls.
