Mr. Walton will preside over sittings of the court at Opotiki to-morrow, Wnakatnne on Wednesday, and Tauranga on Thursday, ’after which he will return to Gisborne.

The Rev. E. O. Blnmires, of the Redding Methodist Church, and formerly ot Mastertoh, lias been appointed organiser for New Zealand for the Bihle-in-Scliools League and will take over the duties early next year. The appointment will mean that. Air. Blamires will require to resign from his Foilding charge and he will reside in Wellington.

Another candidate who was successful in the terms examinations at the Otago University was Miss Nancy Appleton, daughter of Mr. J. G. Appleton, Te Raraka, Miss Appleton, an ex-student of Te Karaka District High School, secured third class passes in intermediate inorganic and organic chemistry and physics.
