The total for the meeting! was £44,131, against £33,583 last year. lumbohm, winner of the King Edward Handicap, returned a- large dividend, while Royal Artist, wlto came second, pint an even bigger price. Tradesman, Greek Gold, Solomon, and Rereatu were the early leaders, and the order in the straight was Greek. Gold, Solomon, Rereatu, British Columbia and Sinking Fund. Rereatu, who was close in, answered tho whip to clap on the pace, with Tradesman, who came from the rear, in close attendance. Pin Mohey was handy in third place, with Gay Seton fourth. Won by a lengthy and a neck. Time, 1.14.

Baroscope, and Kiltowyn close up. In a good finish T.imhohin appeared from nowhere to clinch the viriorv by a neck from Royal Artist,. Red Manfred was a length a wav fh’rd. Lord Val was fourth.
