ARMISTICE DAY

LONDON ARRANGEMENTS USUAL OBSERVANCE (British Official Wireless.) Ree. 2 p.m. RUGBY, Oct. 16. The customary procedure will lie followed in the celebration of Armistice Day on November 11. The central fixture will he a short service at the Cenotaph conducted by the Bishop of London, following the observance of two minutes’ silence. The usual commemorative service will be held at Westminster Abbey and the pilgrimage past the Cenotaph and the Unknown Warrior’s grave in the Abbey will take place. Silence will be observed throughout the United Kingdom.
