SETTLEMENT REACHED
PECS MINE STRIKE MEN’S TERRIBLE CONDITION BUDAPEST, Oct. 15. The mine-owners and miners’ unions have agreed to terms for a settlement of the Pecs hunger strike. The terms include the distribution ot a bonus at once, and another at Christmas, freedom from prosecution providing the mine is undamaged, and the appointment of a Government commission. The terms are being communicated to the strikers.
One thousand miners came to the sur face after a settlement of the terms All were in a terrible condition.
