TRAM STRIKE FEARED
MELBOURNE DISPUTE (Received Oct. 12, 11 arm.) MELBOURNE, Oct. 12. The Tramways Board decided to refuse the traimvaymen’s demands, which include an increase in wages of 2s a day for all employees. There is now a grave possibility 'that there will be a tramway strike in Melbourne during the Duke of Gloucester’s visit.
