CRASH INTO HOUSE
MOTORING MISHAP MINOR DAMAGE DONE (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Late on Saturday, a heavy limousine ear driven by Miss E. Hamilton, of St. Albans, jumped a side channel in Bealey avenue, smashed a 6ft. paling fence, and then crashed into the side oi a house, a portion of which was shifted off its foundations and a number of articles in a room, including a clock, broken. The bumper of the car was embedded in broken weatherlioa ids. One of the occupants of the house, Mrs E. Blowett,. received a severe fright from the noise and impact. The driver of the ear was not hurt. The accident was caused by the ear colliding with another at a corner, and swerving off the road.
