SUPREME COURT ACTION AMENDMENT OF OF AIM Pre*s Aftsoriafion.) WELLINGTON, this day. After testing the feeling of the court, for likely grounds for seeking an injunction against the MnnawntuOroua Power Board, in continuation of the Supreme Court hearing yesterday, counsel for the Palmerston North City Council amended his claim to exclude opposition to the board’s reduction of charges for milking machine power. The hearing will continue to-day on the question as to whether the board was justified in increasing the rate for povyer and lighting in the area of Palmerston North to the advantage of Eoilding and Country districts.
