The new gates which next year will grace McLean Park, Napier, are primarily a memorial to those footballers who fell in the years of the Great War. During the jubilee dinner, Mr. A, E,. Renouf made an appeal that these gates should be erected, and he asked for subscriptions. Within five minutes over 860 was collected.
