Carmelo Mentisano, 36, an Italian, was found dying in a cottage oir the waterfront with deep gashes in the head, one arm almost severed, and the other arm and legs deeply gashed in at least 20 places. Concetta Ciaquinta, 30, who lives with her husband in the same house as tile dead man, was subsequently arrested ou a charge of wilfully murdering Mentisano.
