NEW. METAL ISOLATED (Received September 11, 2 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 10. A Cleveland, Ohio, message states that, the first isolation of proactinium, the rarest- metal, worth £200,000 an ounce, is announced by the American Chemical Society. I lie metal is a silvery radio-active, and its rays- are more penetrating than radium.
