WEDDING

(CLARK—ROBINSON

A vjry pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church', Waipukuray, on Wednesday, wheii Marjorie Isabel, only daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. George Robinson, Bedford . tejrrace, Waipukurau, was married to Douglas, Hepry, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G- P. Clark, of Gisborne. The Rev. W. R. Hutchinson officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked extremely charming, attired in a gown of ivory ring velvet and silver lame, , cut op classical lines. The skirt fell away from a byck panel into a flowing train; the sleeves and neckline had a soft cowl effect, an,d the bride wore a beautifully embroidered tulle veil, with clusters of orange blossom arranged on each side of the head. Silver kid sandal shoes were worn, and a sheaf of beautiful cyclamen and carnations was carried. Miss Greta Turner, cousin of the bride, was very becoming in a frock of ivory lace, slim-fitting to the knees, and falling in a soft flare to the ground, a pleated velvet girdle and bow being worn. She wore a white wide brimmed Bangkok hat, and carried a bouquet coni sisting of daisies and pir\k eamcllins. Mr. John Turtle was best man. Tho guests were afterwards entertained at the Rualiine Tea Rooms, Mrs. Robinson receiving her guests in a smart Princess Mary blue crinkle crepe ensemble, and carrying a posy of autumntinted flowers. The happy couple left later for the jiorth on their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a bluo and silver moss crepe modei frock, under a musquash fpr coat. She wore a blue and white Straw bat, with .shoes of brown python. Mr. and Mrs. Clark’s future home will be in Waipukurau.
