RAPID RECOVERY
HOME STOCK MARKETS DISTURBANCES PASS (Received August 6, 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 5. It was the Wall Street market, the furthest removed from the zone of the trouble, which displayed the greatest perturbation over European affairs, and even had some panicky selling, due, perhaps. as much to internal difficulties as the European factors. The Financial Times says that the technical position here must be sound indeed for the influence of the Bollfuss tragedy to he thrown off in such a short time.
