COLLEAGUES’ TRIBUTE
NEW POLICE INSPECTOR / .. 1 (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Many members of the Police Force attended a farewell gathering to Inspector H. Martin, who has been promoted to Gisborne. Supt. Emerson spoke in complimentary, terns and wished Inspector Martin success and happiness in his new position, and presented him with a clock. Inspector Martin will return to Gisborne on Monday.
