GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL. BY-LAW NO. 18. NOTICE is horoliy given that at a Special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council held on the 31st day of July, 1934, it was resolved by way of Special Order that the Council make a By-law under the "Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,” “Motor Vehicles Act, 1924,” and “Public Works Act, 1925," and the several amendments thereto enabling the Council in that behalf, the object and purport of which By-law are as follows: —In relation to Street Traffic, Taxi and Carriers' Stands, Stands for Private Cars, Special Stands for Municipal Buses, Charges for Hire of Goods and Passenger carrying vehicles, Bicycles, Stock Routes, etc. The said Resolution will be submitted for confirmation to an ordinary meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, Gisborne, on Tuesday, 28th day of August, 1934, at 7.30 p.m. A Copy of the proposed Special Order and By-law is deposited at the Office of the Council, Read’s Quay, Gisborne, where the same will be open for public inspection during office hours until the above confirming meeting is held.
