MOONEE VALLEY RACES WIN POE MELISANDE MELBOURNE, Aug. 1. At the Moonee Valley races, the Compensation Handicap resulted: — Melisande, 7.3 (Martin), 1; Far Lure, 8.11 (Regarty), 2; Yaropian, 8.7 (Gann), 3. Tea started. Won by half a length. Time, 2.1 $.
