AGAIN BELOW AVERAGE
RAINFALL FOR JULY GISBORNE FIGURES Again last month the rainfall at- Gisborne was below the average, in spite of the heavy fall at the end of last week, The gauge readings for the month totalled 4.29 in. on 12 -days. This is the closest the rainfall lias been to the average since February, which was the inly month this year on whiejj, the average has been exceeded. The July average is 5.06 in. The rainfall for the first seven months of the year still is-the lowest for some years, and is only a. little more than half that of tlm previous two years, which were slightly ahead of the average for that period. Tn the following fable is shown the rainfall for the first seven months of the year from 1932:
