The New Zealand ski championships this year will bo held in August at Tongariro National Park, it was_ announced the annual meeting ,of the Federated. Mountain Inbs of New Zealand on Saturday, A sub-committee comprising the president, Mr. A. P. Harper, and Messrs. F. W Vosseler and L. O. Hooker, was set ud to confer -with the Government on the question of national parks reserves. Officers foi the ensuing year were elected' as follow: President, Mr. Harper; vice,presidents, Messrs. Vosselcr (Wellington). Hooker, (Taranaki), E. Fcrrier (Christchurch), and EL Waters (Auckland); committee, Messrs. C. G. Pryor, N. Thomson, Cl G. Lockwood, W. S. Rennie, F. A Wircn, H.. Douglas, A. N. Smith, and It. Syme, and Dr. G. N. Moir; secretary, Mr. J. Hinklo. '
