POWER INTERRUPTION

STRONG WIND RESPONSIBLE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The break at Khandallah sub-station yesterday caused a stoppage of power in Wellington from .12.38 to 1:2.56 p.ffi., just at a time when many people were going home to lunch. The cause of the break was a fracture by the strong wind of a “jumper" on the Khandallah station.
