A feature of to-day’s racing at Churchill Downs was the Antipodes Purse, of six furlongs, which resulted: Ebony Lady, 1; Winooka, 2; Bartle, 3. Timej 1.13 2-5. Five started. Won by a nose. The horses were so close at the finish that many thought the Australian had won.
