THE TROJAN STAR
REASON FOR RETURN OIL FUEL SETS SOLID (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Through thick fuel oil in the hunkers congealing and setting so hard that the boilers were scarcely being fed, the Trojan Star put back after being nearly a week out from Auckland for London, via Panrjwa, and arrived hero this morning. It is thought that the bunkers might have been affected by the proximity of the refrigerating apparatus, but unt:! an expert investigation is made no definite statement can be made. The vessel’s boilers are fitted for cither coal or oil. She came out on coal, and was transferred to oil fuel before leaving Auckland.
