RECORD REGAINED

BRITISH GLIDING FEAT (Received May 16, 2 p.m.) LONDON, May 14. Flying Officer E. Mole glided for 488 minutes, breaking the l British record of 442 minutes established by Mr. J. Laver, who last year broke Flying Officer Mole’s previous record. Flying Officer Mole says lie could have carried on much longer. His highest altitude was 2000 ft.
