PROGRAMME: CLASS I—LONG HEAD: Head sheep, bring back, steady and drive round ring to satisfaction of the judge. About 600 yards. Time allowed 12 minutes. Points: Head 17, pull 17, ring 4, command 12. Total, 50. CLASS ir.— SHORT HEAD, DRIVE AND YARD: Head sheep, bring back, drive through one set of hurdles, drive to yard and yard. About 400 yards. Time, 15 minutes. Points: Head 10, pull 10, drive 4, hurdles 4, drive 4, work at yard 10. yarding 0, command 12. Total 60. CLASS lII—ZIG-ZAG HD NT AWAY: Through three sets of flags ; about 400 yards. Time, 12 minutes Points: Huritaway 18, noise 9, style 6, command 12. Total 45. PRIZES IN EACH CLASS.—ist Geld. Medal and 30 per cent, of entry; 2nd, 2 <i per cent. „of entry; 3rd, 15 per cent, off entry, and 4th, 10 per cent, of entry. ~ SENIOR CUP for best team of three dofti, one in each class. To be won two years in succession or three times at intervals. CHALLENGE CUP -'-For annual competition. To be held by the runner-up to the Se MAIDEN LOCAL SHEPHERD'S CHALLENGE CUP. — For maiden shepherds of the Waiapu County with best team of two d&ogs, one heading dog and one huntaway. JUNIOR cyp—For shepherd under 21. years of age with best team of two dogs, one heading dog and one huntaway. Tb be won two years in succession or three tames at intervals. A MINIATURE will be presented with each Challenge Cup. OTHER SPECIAL PRIZES TO BE ALLOTTED. Post Entries, but entries must be in before the start of each event. Entry Fee, 5/C per dog.
