NEW ZEALAND APPLES
MONTREAL, May 4. New Zealand apples, 21,000 boxes of which were landed a few days ago at Halifax, were on the Montreal market on Thursday. , Brokers said they will he absorbed quickly in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. Fruit men said they did not compete with Canadian apples at this season.
