After a lengthy hearing, the jury recorded a verdict for £I3OO in the claim by Jessie Raes Bray, widow, against Norman Hamilton Gilmore, for damages for the death of her husband, who was killed when the defendant’s lorry collided with deceased’s horse on Waitati road.
