A visitor to Gisborne last evening was Wing-Commander S. Grant-Daul-ton, D. 5.0., A.F.C., who was director of air services for the New Zealand Government from 1929 to 1931. His trip to Gisborne was in connection with the proposed formation of an air transport compuny to operate between Gisborne and Napier. Wing-Com-mander Grant-Daulton is now 1 Resident in Havelock North. He has had a very varied and extensive career in the Royal Flying Corps and his association with any company operating a service in this district should prove particularly useful,
