SUSPECTS CAPTURED

SAT ON BY NURSES ENCOUNTER IN HOSPITAL GROUNDS MELBOURNE, April 13. Two nurses at the Uxbridge Houso private hospital, Fitzroy, overpowered two men in the hospital grounds tonight, and, assisted by members of the medical staff, detained them until the police arrived. Six nurses and two doctors sat on the men until two constables from Fitzroy arrested them. A third man escaped. Matron 'Maud Nic.hol land Nurse Nancy Burgess saw three men walk out of Nurse Burgess’ bungalow, which is in the grounds of the hospital. The nurses ran after the men and overtook them. Nurse Burgess attacked one of them and knocked him down. She jumped on him and held him on the ground. Matron Nichol caught another man, and called for help. Four nurses and two doctors ran out of the hospital to their assistance.
