SURVEY COMPLETED REPORT TO GOVERNMENT (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this clay. Hamilton, who travelled from Invercargill to Wellington yesterday, said that the engineer in charge of the survey had returned to Invercargill fl,nd was preparing a report which would probably 'be presented to the Government shortly. Then the continuation of the road would be considered. He did not know what the Public Works Department was likely to recommend, but he thought it would toe a tunnel through the Homer saddle.
