GISBORNE HERD TESTS
FIGURES FOR MARCH INCREASE ON LAST YEAR The Poverty Bay Group Herd Testing Association’s average butterfat per cow for last month was 27.191 b., nearly lib. better than for March last year. The test was lower last month and the number of cows considerably greater. The highest herd last month averaged 46,831 b. of butterfat, this being for a small herd of six cows in the Tiniroto-lahunga group. The highest cow was in the same group, and was credited with 611 b. of fat. The following summary of the performances is provided by tho secretary, Mr. M. Whitham: WAIPAOA-GISBORNE
