The Herald-Tribune, says: “The British cinema takes another notable step forward with ‘Catherine the treat,’ and describes Miss Bergner’s thrilling combination of emotion, loiieslv and technical brilliance.’ ” 'The New York American devotes ;\\u columns to its review, saying: •The lilm proves that the dynasty of London films, lifted to the cinematic throne by the ‘Private Life of Henry fill,’ endures and flowers full in Catherine the Great.’ It is a triumph. )ur salutations to the victors.
