Once settled down, however, Hankey gradually reduced his disadvantage, and at the, War Memorial was about two lengths behind Kinder. In tlho finish Kinder retained a length’s lead. This series will be continued this evening. Scratchings have been more numerous tuan usual, and the series has not yet seized the interest of oarsmen generally, whose attention is devoted mainly to the preparations of the regatta represent atives.
