NEW COMPANIES ACT SOCIETY’S ACTION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Some sections of the recently enacted Companies Act give rise to differences of opinion on interpretation, according to statements at a meeting oi the executive and investigation committee of the New Zealand (society of Accountants. It, was stated that it was important that doubtful matters should be cleared up definitely as soon as possible. A sub-committee was appointed to confer with the Registrar of Companies and take action to prevent misunderstanding of certain puzzling sections, of the Act.
