BROKEN HILL STRIKE ENDS

SYDNEY, March 21. The Broken Hill strike, as a protest against the Government’s removal of a number of families from benefits under the Compensation Act, was a one-day affair. The loss to tradespeople was about £3OOO. Everything is again normal.
