CAR WRECKED
GRENADE THROWN AT JEW (Received Alarch 22, 2 p.m.) 1 BERLIN, March 2,1. Rumors’ of an attempt to assassinate Dr. Goering, arose when an egg-shaped hand .grenade was thrown in the Filter den Linden into a taxicab occupied by an Austrian Jew, David Oliver, the owner of a chain of cinemas, including the capital, where the Elizabeth Borgucv film, “Catherine the Great,” was banned. The chauffeur was severely injured, but Oliver escaped almost unscathed. The cur was wrecked.
