AUSTRIAN PRISONERS
FEARS AS TO FATE LEADERS TO BE TRIED (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received March 2, 11 a.m.) VIENNA, March 1. Though the Tageblatt reports that 20 of the arrested Social Democrat leaders shortly will be tried on a ( charge of having a previous knowledge oi the revolt, there is still uncertainty about the fate ,and treatment of prisoners as a whole. Dr. Dollfuss last week promised foreign correspondents an opportunity oi seeing them, but so far this lias not been granted. It is believed that the treatment of some prisoners is far from satisfactory, especially leading women deputies, of whom 12 arc stated to be sharing one cell.
