BUTTER MARKET QUIET HEAVY ARRIVALS The market‘for New Zealand butter in London has developed a quiet tone in view of heavy arrivals, but there is no change in the 72s per cwt. quotation announced yesterday. The cheese market has weakened a further 6d to Is per cwt. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following cablegram from London, dated March I:—“Butter, 725; the market is very quiet, owing to heavy arrivals. Cheese, white 42s 6d to 435, colored 45s to 45s 6d; the market is slow.”
