TRAGEDY IN WAIOEKA
WOMAN’S FATAL FALL (Per Press Association.) OPOTIKI, this day. At midday yesterday, Mrs. Boon, 28, the wife of Mr. E. A. Boon, the Waioeka schoolmaster, fell over a cliff in the Waioeka gorge, miles from Opotiki, and was drowned. The tragedy occurred on the concluding day of the Waioeka School golden jubilee.
