Fouf new cases of infectious discaso were notified from the East Coast health district to headquarters at Gisborne for the week ended at noon today. They comprised two cases of tuberculosis and two of typhoid fever. In addition, one death was reported from tuberculosis during the week. Irttluded in the original prggramme of entertainments for the officers and men of H.M.S. Dunedin was an electric light sports meeting at the Childers road reserve on Thursday evening under the auspices of the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club. However, owing to the fact that the vessel is now scheduled to depart on Thursday morning, alterations have had to be made in the Gisborne Publicity League’s programme? and this sports meeting is now set down for Wednesday evening.
