Dulgety and Company, Limited, report having held their monthly stock sale at Wliakatane on Thursday, when an average yarding came forward. Beef showed marked improvement and prices advanced considerably. The whole yarding changed hands at prices, satisfactory to vendors. Quotations: —Fat Holstein and 'Shorthorn cows, £3 3s to £4 10s; fat heifers, £3 2s to £3 4s; fat young Jersey cows, £2 to £3 4s; forward Jersey cowft, 30s to 375; store cows, 20s to 275; low-conditioned cows, 17s to 20s; Holstein four-year steers, to £6; heavy hulls, £2 15s to £3 10s; others, £2 12s (id to £2 14s.
