NOT SHERRY
AUSTRALIAN [WINE LONDON, Feb. 7. The magistrate at Shoreditch Police Court fined a wine retailer £5 ss, with £lO 10s costs, under the Merchandise Marks Act (1887), for selling Australian wine “under a false trade description. ” The wine was labelled “Yalumba Sherry.” The magistrate said that when people asked for a bottle of sherry they were entitled to get wine which came from the district of Jerez (Spain).
