GISBORNE CLUB

On Friday evening the Gisborne Swimming Club will conduct live events at the Macrae Bath, and with the improvement in the weather it is anticipated that there will he keen competition. In the Schoolgirls’ Handicap bliss N. Henderson, winner of the Hawke’s Bay junior championships, will be competing, while in the ,schoolboys’ event there will be lb Lange, winner of three Hawke’s Bay championships, and 1). Leslie, 100yds Hawke’s Bay title holder. H. Holmes, winner of tin* 220yds Hawke’s Bay title, will be competing in the intermediate 'handicap. The following are the events to be held: 100yds Ladies’ Handicap, for McKinley Cups 33 l-3yds Schoolgirls’ Handicap! 50yds Schoolboys’ Handicap, 66 2-3yds Intermediate Handicap, 100yds Senior Handicap. Entries for all events close with Mr. O. E. Brown at noon tomorrow.
