P. C. Wren’s Sea Yarn
TX the prologue of' " Action and * Passion,” the reader 'is confronted with three distinct plots laid respectively in England, China ami the United States; With a dexterity worthy of his manipulations of the Foreign Legion, Mr P. C. Wren weaves them into a single adventure of Sinclair Noel Brodie Dysart's experiences in the windjammer Valyrkic. The narrative is, admittedly, far fetched, but all through the 'intrigues, quarrels, mutinies, in every change of climate, in every phase of danger, there is manifest not only the familiar gusto of this author, but a genuine knowledge of sea life, sea character and the stern moulding of men.
