GERMAN PLANS TOR 193 G LONDON, Dec. 27. Preliminary information issued by the German Olympic Cornmitteo indicates that the 1935 Olympic Games in - Berlin will bo carried out on a larger scale than any previous games. A site of 285 acres amid the beautifully wooded surround- ' ings of Pichelsberg, on, the western outskirts of the city, lias been chosen lor conversion into a sports park. Tho stadium there will he reconstructed to accommodate 100,000 people, while the whole park will accommodate another 250,000. , , The organisers envisage the whole area as a permanent sports area fur Berlin, for, in addition to the .cycling track of 3331 metres, and a swimming! pool of 50 metres, in which the Olympic contests will bo held, there will be a large bathing lake, an equestrian sports area, an open-air theatre holding 35,000 spectators, and a lawn tennis stadium.
