WOMAN DISAPPEARS
MYSTERY PUZZLES POLICE
MELBOURNE, Dec. .27,
The police are puzzled .by the mysterious disappearance from her home at Heidelberg early on Sunday morning of Molly Munt, 21. Miss Mnnt’s last words when she loft lier borne wearing a dressing gown and slippers were, “Don t put off the light; I’ll be back. Iler sistei, Miss Alvie Munt, to whom she spoke, heard her walk down the path at the side of the house, and heard a trellis gate slam. The young woman has not been seen since by members of the family or the police who made a thorough search to-day. . , Miss. Munt’s father said to-day that they were afraid some harm had come to their daughter. She had all her Christ* mas gifts ready for distribution and seemed quite happy.
