Tho miners’ conference passed a resolution regretting that the Government had not brought pressure on tho coalowners to participate in a joint examination into the possibilities of the establishment of national machinery for wage regulation. i Tho conference also protested against the Government’s removal of the only effective safeguard against wage reductions while granting the owners’ request in regard to working hours.
