The Daily Herald's financial editor says 'plans arc being prepared for' a revival of British lending abroad,-but i: will lie ensured that the money, is not used to finance competitors of British industry. A major portion
must be spent in Britain. It is expected that the Treasury will remove the ban on foreign loans early in 1934.
