RADIO TRANSMITTERS
ASSOCIATION MEETS A SATISFACTORY YEAR (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. A satisfactory financial position was shown in a report -presented at the annual convention of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters. There are about 70 delegates, representing almost every district in tiro Dominion. The treasurer’s report commented favorably on the fact that the year had dosed with a credit balance of £75. The membership had been well maintained, there being 615 financial members at the end of the year, compared with 621 12 months previously.
The new constitution of the association was adopted, and the following officers were elected: President, .Mr. W. G. Collett (Dunedin); vice-presidents, Messrs. E. McKay (Auckland) and W. M. Hall (Wellington), Dr. R. B. Dodds (Dunedin), and Mr. It. T. Stanton (Christchurch) ; secretary, Mr. E. Whiteley (Auckland) ; treasurer, Mr. S. G. Waite (Auckland); editor of magazine, Mr. G-. Mcß. Salt (Auckland); committee, Messrs. C. Button, W. Illingworth, L. Mellors, C. N. Edwards, F. Hawthorne, anil It. Taylor, all of Auckland.
