MUSSOLINI’S NEW ORDER
DONS HAVE TO WEAR BLACK SHIRTS TURIN, Nov. 1. Tailors foresee the universal use of the black shirt, worn, according to official orders, without a jacket. A few days ago. Signor Starace, secretary of the Fascist Party, sent orders to the rectors of all Italian universities that they, the professors, tutors, and students, must don the black shirt under their gowns “on all official occasions.” The result was that to-day, when the examinations of the Higher School of Architecture took place, examiners and students all wore black shirts, the examiners under their gowns, students without jackets.
