ROUND IN FEWER STROKES THAN YEARS $ MELBOURNE, Dec. 14. Mr, Hugh Ross, a veteran member of the Royal Melbourne Golf Club, realised a long-cherished ambition to-day, when he played a round of the course, taking no more strokes than his years. Mr. Ross is 77 years of agio, and returned a score of 76. He was playing in a fourball match. Apart from having realised his ambition, Mr. Ross was responsible for a splendid performance for a man of his age.
