Oil-Burning Engine
THE oil burning engine, Air. A. It* * Dunstant of the Anglo-Persian Jil Company, London, told the American Petroleum Institute meeting in Jhicago on October 27, soon will operate “truck, tractor and bus." “In Europe this is developing rapidly," ho reported. “I can foreshadow that none but small and light Automobiles will operate on gasoline. " The outlook for manufacturing better lubricating oils through refining with solvents, among them furfural, manufactured from oat hulls or straw, was given special consideration. Engineers said that now-style relining promised to produce lubricants equal co the best now available from interior crude oil.
